Monitoring
From planning and designing monitoring measurements, up to the metrological implementation and software development - we ensure assurance.
Over the entire lifecycle of a structure, the object is permanently exposed to external influences which can lead to various geometric changes. A distinction is made between rigid body motion and deformation of the internal geometry of an object.
Commonly occurring deformations, that have to be detected by monitoring, are for example:
- Inclination / tilting
- Relative and absolute changes of heights
- Change of position
- Elongations / compressions
- Bendings
- Shears
Possibly occurring deformations of objects can be acquired continuously or discontinuously by means of geodetic precision measurement methods. For this, we draw on the full range of geodetic metrology, from automatically measuring total stations, via high-precision GPS surveys, through to detecting distance changes in micrometer ranges.
Among others, we use the following technologies for monitoring tasks:
Total station
GPS
Tilt sensor
Water level gauge
Inclinometer probe
Extensometer
Crack meas gauge
Strain gauge
Zenith plumb
Meteodata
